The Citizen Ambassador Program in cooperaton with Dr. Sumaya AlBlooshi, Director of Nursing, Ministry of Health and Prevention, United Arab Emirates, is developing a series of US Nursing delegations to visit the Abu Dhabi and Dubai, beginning in the fall of 2022. The goal of these high-level, in-depth international exchanges are to foster one-on-one dialogue between US and UAE UAE nursing counterparts.
Under the direction of Dr. AlBlooshi, in her role as head of the UAE Supreme National Committee for Nursing and Midwifery, Dr. Alblooshi and senior UAE Nursing professionals are tasked with implementation of the UAE National Strategy for Nursing and Midwifery-Roadmap 2025.
The US Delegations will contribute to the foundations needed to accomplish these lofty goals, and will also have an opportunity to observe and discuss challenges and best practices with international nursing professionals practicing in the UAE, international NGO representatives in the region and their counterpart US professionals; all who are also contribuitng to the National Strategy outcomes.
