
Delegation Leaders are selected by the professional association to represent the members and the goals of the association. Delegation leaders provide the initial vision and guidance in the development of the professional program. Delegation Leaders assist in facilitating the professional dialog, greeting hosts and representing the delegation members while in the field.
Kristina Hoerl, MSN, RN, NPD-BC, CRN
Kristina Hoerl, ARIN President, has over 30 years of experience in pediatric, adult, psychiatric, and radiology nursing. She holds professional certifications as a Radiology Nurse and a Nursing Professional Development Specialist. For the last 23 years, Ms. Hoerl hase worked various roles in the Radiology Department of a large, urban academic medical center and its associated health system including staff nurse, lead clinical nurse, and interim nurse manager. Mr. Hoerl is currently the Radiology Nursing Practice and Professional Development Specialist for the health system.
Ms. Hoerl has been a member of the Association of Radiological and Imaging Nursing (ARIN) since 2005. In her time with ARIN, she has presented at National Conferences, authored journal articles and a chapter in the Radiology Nursing Core Curriculum, served as Master Faculty for the Imaging Review Course and served on the ARIN Board of Directors as Director of Education, and currently as President. Mr. Hoerl was named Radiology Nurse of the year in 2017 and one of Baltimore’s Top 50 Nurses in 2018 and in 2022 was selected as winner of The Johns Hopkins Radiology Nursing Charlotte Godwin Legacy Award that honors the Hopkins nurse that best exemplifies dedication to patient care, education and safety; commitment to collegiality and respect for all; and supporting excellence for all Radiologic and Imaging Nurses.
Mr. Hoerl has previously presented radiology nursing education virtually in Abu Dhabi through ARIN, and in person in Johannesburg, South Africa with Johns Hopkins International.
