Our Vision

  • Promoting the face of Imaging Nursing across all disciplines.
  • Advancing Radiologic and Imaging Nursing by sharing best practices, robust process improvement, and publications around the world.

Delegation Objective

Our primary objective for this delegation is to gain an understanding and appreciation for Radiology and Imaging Nurses in the UAE and their role in providing care. We will accomplish this objective through dialog with colleagues, and through professional and cultural visits.

The following subjects are of particular interest to the delegation. These topics may be further refined to incorporate the specialized interest and expertise of the individual delegates.

  1. Nurse administered moderate sedation
  2. Environmental safety in Radiology and Imaging
  3. Latest trends in minimally invasive procedures in the radiology and imaging departments
  4. Orientation for nurses in radiology and imaging
  5. Managing emergency events in the diagnostic and interventional radiology settings
  6. Leadership and management in radiology departments

It is intended that these exchanges will facilitate increased learning for the UAE nurses and government representatives, and for the U.S. delegation members.   The opportunity to openly share and discuss best practices, advances and challenges facing their profession will provide a foundation for strong professional bonds, contributing to increased international understanding at the career and personal levels for all.
