Immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Moroccan desert following your professional exchange. The cultural extension will allow you to experience village life in rural Morocco, feel the sands of the Erg Chebbi Desert between your toes, and barter with the locals for exotic handicrafts.
You will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Immortalized in films such as “Lawrence of Arabia”, “Babel” or “Indiana Jones this fortress untouched by times stands like a rough diamond emerging from the surrounding rock face. While in the Kasbah, you will delight in the scents of spice and the local village cuisine. Explore the Moroccan desert during a sunset camel trek from Merzouga. On this private tour, you will ride a camel to the dunes of Erg Chebbi and hike to the top of the highest dune for panoramic views across the desert.
