Alaina Percival, a seasoned tech entrepreneur, investor, and global thought leader, is passionate about advancing women’s careers and influence across the globe. As the  co – founder of Women Who Code, she spearheaded the organization’s growth for over a decade, transforming it into the largest and most active community of women technologists, serving nearly half a million members across 147 countries. Alaina’s prowess as a business leader and board member is underscored by her keen focus on strategic growth and fostering inclusive company cultures.

At Riviera Partners, Alaina led developer outreach and utilized her growth expertise to attract top-tier tech talent. She honed her strategic acumen and business perspective skills at organizations like PUMA in Germany, where she worked in marketing, brand, and product leadership roles. Recently, Alaina advised a group of 90 entrepreneurs in Taiwan on strategic growth and organizational development spanning across sectors from AI to fintech. Alaina serves as a founding Advisor to CodePath and evaluates companies for inclusion in venture capital funds.

The majority of Alaina’s board work has been with Women Who Code and is supported by two years on the founding board of ATLFamily Meal. Formed in 2020, in rapid response to the pandemic to serve hospitality workers with food security, the organization grew into a multimillion-dollar endeavor. Her board service spans chairing roles and participation in executive, governance, finance, audit, and development committees.

Alaina has been recognized with accolades from the San Francisco Business Times 40 Under 40, the Globally Responsible Organizations and Work (GROW) Award from Georgia State University, and the Distinguished Alumni Award from the State Department program, Congress-Bundestag Exchange For Young Professionals. As a highly sought-after speaker, she has delivered talks to the United Nation’s Information Management Unit and universities, including Harvard, MIT, and Peking University, where she actively shares her insights on building inclusive business practices, harnessing the power of community, and developing leadership skills.

Alaina earned her MBA from Georgia State University, an M.A. in Organizational Management from the Sorbonne in Paris, and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Georgia State University. Alaina resides in Atlanta with her husband and two children.
