TAXI Service
Nearly all International flights arrive at Dubai International Airport Terminal 1, 2 or 3. DTC/RTA Airport Taxis (official Taxi service of the UAE) is the easiest way to travel to Abu Dhabi. These taxis have a base fare of AED 25 ($6.75 USD) and charge AED 1.75 ($.50 USD) for every km. (Approximately $100-$125 USD) There is no need to book the vehicle in advance as there are Taxi Queues at all Dubai International Airport terminals.
DUBAI TAXI Information
The Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) which operates official taxis in the emirate, is a subsidiary of the Roads and Transport Authority Dubai (RTA). It ensures that the taxi fleet consisting of over 5,000 vehicles, adheres to the highest standards of safety and passenger comfort. You would notice that official DTC taxis have a cream-colored body, a red or green roof and at times, advertisements on doors and bumpers. These fares are regulated and priced according to the meter reading. It’s important to note that your taxi fare depends on the time of the day and your location. Using the Fare calculator on the RTA’s S’hail app allows you to book taxis and plan your journey around Dubai.
