Delegation Leaders are selected by the professional association to represent the members and the goals of the association.  Delegation leaders provide the initial vision and guidance in the development of the professional program. Delegation Leaders assist in facilitating the professional dialog, greeting hosts, and representing the delegation members while in the field.

Douglas Fisher, Ph.D.

 Douglas Fisher, Ph.D., is professor and chair of educational leadership at San Diego State University. Doug is a credentialed teacher and administrator in California. He has published over 250 books, chapters, and articles focused on school improvement and was inducted into the Reading Hall of Fame in 2022.

 

Nancy Frey, Ph.D.

Nancy Frey, Ph.D. is  a professor in the Educational Leadership Department at San Diego State University and Claremont Graduate University.  Dr. Frey specializes in reading and language arts, literacy, children’s and young adult literature, language development, literacy development and leadership.
